Dear darkdaughta: You have offered the most critical observation that could further unseat official versions of geographical 'locations' that constitute the 'third world'. Indeed the Third World resides within the First World Amerikkka, as you state. And this displacement is at times too obvious to be stated-- at the same time, the omission proves to be dangerous when ameriKKKa is generalized as though it were just one nation of one people under/above 'god'. Thank you for your very insightful comments and kind words. My sincere thanks to all the readers who have gone through this review, and are planning on procuring the book soon.

I'm stretching my analysis and knowledge out from center after years of trying to understand who, what I was in a really personal way, moving out to situating myself as political, politicized being, now moving out to incorporate context for my sake, but also for the sake of my family. This book gives great context for the struggles I believe in. Or maybe gets me to complicate what exactly I believe in. As a north amerikkkanized person, I think one thing that struck me as odd was the failure to mention the struggles of Native people in the amerikkkas who are a third world within a first world which really complicates the picture even more for someone like me who lives on their lands. Thank you for all the work, time and critical analysis you put into this review. I’m also going to get a copy of the book. Comment on ‘Crash’ Course from Kenneth Eng: Racism defines America by Naga http://saswat.com/blog/2007/03/01/eng/#comment-19086 Fri, 16 Mar 2007 19:26:54 +0000 http://saswat.com/blog/2007/03/01/eng/#comment-19086 what a whole bunch of losers.. it seems one guy let loose a bunch of complaints , most of them being hurtful than anything else. And now this is supposed to clearly show that the US is such a racist society ?? Give me a friggin break. There are racist elements in society - no one denies that. But please dont pass that on to the entire society. As it is people have a tough time taking care of their personal business - now it seems they are all collectively responsible for some one's fault !! What will happen to these left wing moonbats if Obama becomes President ? I am sure that they will say that the US is still a racist society. what a whole bunch of losers.. it seems one guy let loose a bunch of complaints , most of them being hurtful than anything else. Henry, I will expand on political economy line soon. thanks. And Sanjeev, thanks for still checkin out the blog after all these times! As for Jaggi's remarks I dont think he said "marx and lenin" said the same things as much as he said "both Marx and Lenin showed" the same aspects. Now, thats not that alarming, is it? I agree that M/L may not have been the originators of anything spectacularly different, but we dont need to celebrate only the different things. It is in the celebration of the everyday things that real joys lie. And I think they did a great job at demonstrating how our daily lives can be impacted positively through revolutionary means. Perhaps more than most of the rest of people that the recorded history knows. And to that, I have no hesitation in affirming. I am opposed to institutionalization of critical thoughts per se, but I must acknowledge where some of those thoughts spring from as well. And I believe Jaggi was accurate in his assessment thereby. I am sure you would agree too. Thanks. Dear Henry and Sanjeev,
