First of all, let me say I really don't like to talk that much. I really don't. I prefer to perform than talk. You know, let me just say this, the tradition of great performers from Sammy Davis Jr to James Brown to Jackie Wilson to Fred Astaire, Jean Kelly, the story is usually the same though. These guys work really hard at their craft , but the story ends the same. They usually are broken, torn and usually sad. The stories end because the companies take advantage of them.

Sony, being the artist that I am at Sony, I have generated several billion dollars for Sony. Several billion. They really thought that my mind is always on music & dancing and it usually is. But they never thought that this performer - myself - would outthink them. (Applause)

So we will not let them get away with what they are trying to do. Now I am a free agent. I just owe sony only one album - its just a box set really with two new songs which I had written ages ago because for every album that I record I write like, literally I am telling the truth, I write about 120 songs every album I do. I can give them a box set with any two songs.

So I am leaving Sony a free agent owning half of sony so I own half of Sony's publishing & I am leaving them and they are very angry. I just did good business, so the way they get revenge is try & destroy my album. But I always say that good art never dies. Thank you...I love them.

And Tommy Mottolla is a devil. I am not supposed to say what I'm about to say but I am going let you in in a secret. Please do not video tape. Turn that off please. You know what, I don't mind. Tape it. Mariah Carey after divorcing Tommy, she was crying, she was crying so badly I had to hold her. And she said to me "this is an evil man and Michael, this man follows me", she said. He taps her phones & he is very very very evil and she does not trust him. He is a horrible human being & we have to continue our drive until he is terminated. We cannot allow him to do this to great artistry, we just cannot. I just want you to know that I appreciate everything you have done, you're amazing. You are so loyal, Diana. Everybody. Waldo.
