They Don't Really Care About Us (Banned Prison Version)

Michael Jackson was the most influential voice of protest against the prison-industrial complex of United States. He was himself a victim of police brutality - from having his arm almost dislocated by force by the police which manhandled him to the forced imprisonment within abandoned toilet room to being treated as a guilty man when he was entirely innocent. United States has most number of undertrial prisoners awaiting verdicts and hopefully, justice. Michael Jackson was the most famous victim of all.
After being accused of anti-semitism in the lyric, this song became too controversial for the American radio to air, but remained a top ten hit throughout Europe. Jackson clarified : "The idea that these lyrics could be deemed objectionable is extremely hurtful to me, and misleading. The song in fact is about the pain of prejudice and hate and is a way to draw attention to social and political problems. I am the voice of the accused and the attacked....It is about the injustices to young people and how the system can wrongfully accuse them. I am angry and outraged that I could be so misinterpreted."
But the hypocrisy of the liberal media went unchecked. No one raised an alarm at the usage of the word "Nigger" as much as they were hurt by the use of the world "Jew". Under pressure of the Zionist press, Jackson had to apologize: "I just want you all to know how strongly I am committed to tolerance, peace and love, and I apologize to anyone who might have been hurt"
In this video, Michael brings to light a necessary revolutionary insight and cries out: All I want to say is that they don't really care about us!
He alludes to white supremacism, and KKK, to a system that punished black people based on their color. A system where everyone is presumed to be guilty until proven innocent. Michael challenges this very system.
